Holly White has over 25 years’ experience working as a Human Resources Professional spanning the public and private sectors. After 15 years working in HR with UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA, in regional and global level positions, in 2023 she began working in consulting and training roles, focusing on helping build organisational effectiveness through alignment, engagement and development of people and teams. Holly has intimate knowledge of career development and recruitment in the wider UN System, having served in roles focused on recruitment, staff learning and career development. This includes direct support to teams working in humanitarian contexts, including team development for UNFPA Syria, training and recruitment and deployment support to UNFPA's Humanitarian Office, fast-track recruitment support in UNFPA’s West Africa region and staff support to UNFPA Nigeria following the Boko Haram attacks. 

Since 2010, Holly has held the position of adjunct professor at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where she facilitates workshops on career development and interviewing skills for graduate students in the program. In the private sector, she worked for 10 years for several organisations: Altria Group, Inc., Kraft Foods Inc., and M&M/Mars in various HR roles and as an HR Director for Ogilvy & Mather and Ann Taylor. 

Holly is a coach for an innovative National Officer initiative, The Horizon Programme, that KITE designed and runs in partnership with WFP.

Holly earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University. She recently earned a certificate in Professional Coaching from New York University. In addition, Holly is certified in a wide range of assessment tools such as MBTI, PDI Profilor, KornFerry Leadership Architect, among others. She earned a certification in career coaching from Career Counseling Services, in the UK  and is currently working toward her ICF certification.
